There is a ton of BS in the health and fitness space.

It’s deeply unfortunate and leads to many people's confusion when they want to improve their fitness.

There is an information overload, and it can make navigating the fitness terrain intimidating for a beginner.

I’m going to shed some light on 5 of the worst myths I see and that my clients are often confused about.

But before I go into this, let’s understand why there is so much misinformation.

Why all the BS?

A few reasons.

  1. According to Google, the Global fitness industry is worth about 87 Billion dollars.

That’s a lot of money — aka a lot of incentive to sell things.

It’s easier to sell outrageous claims with scroll-stopping headlines than the simple approach that works.

2. Social Media

Most of this hustling for a piece of that 87 Billion dollar pie happens on social media, where our attention spans are getting shorter, and it takes an increasingly outstanding piece of content to capture our attention.
